I'd actually visited Penny Lane on Dec 8th last year :) You should visit, it's a great place. The barber showing photographs of every head he's had the pleasure to have known ...well he's still around.
And about your comment on The Bride's blog , I was pretty surprised that there wasn't an Australian venue. Always thought Aus was a part of the G8 ... It's easy to remember 7 and any point, but always get the 8th one wrongP

That is so cool that you visited Penny Lane... I think I did read something about the barber and everything! Isn't Dec 8th John's death anniversary? As I am quite fond of saying, I adore him and he died before I was even conceived :( (I was probably conceived sometime in Jan 1981)
Yeah, Australia is pretty much forgotten by the rest of the world... anyway, if they had had one here I'm sure they would've had some really lame people like 50 Cent or Missy Elliot or something!
